MonoGame

MonoGame prides itself as an open source alternative to the XNA Framework 4.0.

Most games can be converted with minimal code changes, although certain assets must be imported in .xnb format and MonoGame does not support custom Content Processors out of the box.  With conversion, I had to make changes to my sound handler class and storage device code.

MonoGame isn’t 100% XNA, but it does a damn good job already.
